Wouldn't it be great if you could hear private conversations?  What if it was anonymous?  Would you care if it was in New York vs. Arizona?  Is this legal?  What if nothing was recorded?  What if nobody knew?  What if it was all real-time?  Meet Mic.  He listens and sends what he hears in real-time to a gallery where visitors can listen in.  

Mic is 1/2 inch, battery operated microphone stuck underneath the surface of a table.  There are thousands of Mics.  When his battery life expires, that Mic is dead and another one takes his place to be heard in the gallery.

This is a concept piece on privacy.   Unfortunately it was too expensive to meet the minimums for a custom built 1/2" battery operated Mic with a SIM card :)...  My experiment was basically in realizing that.  But wouldn't this be fun!
